The US Department of Defence has reported that more than 750 service members have been injured since the start of the country's war against Iran. The Pentagon updated its war casualty database this week, adding 50 more injured service members to the list.
According to the Defence Casualty Analysis System (DCAS) data, when totals from the Operation Epic Fury rubric are combined with updated figures in the “Overseas Operations” category, the total number comes out to 756 wounded in action. The Pentagon noted that the servicemen who have been killed in the operation still stand at 18, bringing the total number of killed and injured in the war to 774.
