Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge continues its unstoppable run at the global box office, cementing its position as one of the biggest cinematic successes of the year. The Ranveer Singh-led actioner has now grossed approximately Rs. 1653.67 crore worldwide in just 20 days, placing it among the top 10 highest-grossing films of 2026 globally.
Directed by Aditya Dhar, the film’s achievement is particularly significant as it stands shoulder-to-shoulder with major Hollywood and Chinese releases.
A rare global milestone for Indian cinema
At present, Dhurandhar 2 ranks 10th globally with over $177 million, just behind Hollywood’s GOAT. Topping the list is China’s Pegasus 3 with a staggering $638 million, followed by big-ticket titles like Project Hail Mary and The Super Mario Galaxy Movie.
Here's the list of Top 10 highest-grossing films of the year worldwide:
1. Pegasus 3 (China)- $638.7M
2. Project Hail Mary (USA)- $420.8M
3. The Super Mario Galaxy Movie (USA)- $372.5M
4. Hoppers (USA)- $332.2M

10. Dhurandhar 2 (India)- $177+M
This marks a rare moment where an Indian film is holding its ground, among global blockbusters.
A historic domestic run
A major chunk of the film’s success has been driven by its phenomenal performance in India, where it has already crossed Rs. 1200 crore gross and close to Rs 1050 crore net. Backed by strong word-of-mouth and repeat audience value, the film has maintained an impressive hold well beyond its opening week, a rarity for big-ticket action entertainers.
With momentum still intact, the film is now eyeing the Rs. 1700 crore worldwide mark, a feat that could make it the highest-grossing Indian film without China or Gulf contributions.
Record-breaking overseas performance
If its domestic numbers are massive, Dhurandhar 2’s overseas run is nothing short of historic. The film has crossed Rs. 400 crore internationally, making it the highest-grossing Indian film of all time outside India (excluding China). Its standout performance has come from North America, where it has already:
-Crossed $25 million, becoming the first Indian film to do so
-Set its sights on the $30 million milestone
The film has delivered consistently across territories, underlining its global appeal.
A global phenomenon in the making
With its record-breaking numbers across markets, Dhurandhar 2 has evolved beyond being just a domestic blockbuster. It now stands as a full-fledged global box office phenomenon, rewriting benchmarks for Indian cinema internationally.
As the film continues its theatrical run, the big question remains, how far can this juggernaut go, and can it climb even higher among 2026’s biggest worldwide grossers?
