In a surprising turn of events, VS Babu is leading the polls by a narrow margin with the Tamil Nadu Chief Minister trailing behind.
2. Chepauk-Thiruvallikeni
The two constituencies were merged in 2008 and were held by Stalin's son Udhayanidhi. This year, he was challenged by the AIADMK's Adhi Rajaram, the NTK's Ayisha Begum, and the TVK's D Selvam. Stalin has managed to maintain the lead with TVK's D Selvam trailing behind with just 1,365 votes.
3. Edappadi
The crucial constituency had elected AIADMK general secretary Edappadi K Palaniswami consecutively since 2011. This year, he was going against DMK candidate Kaasi and the NTK's Priyadharshini.
