In a rare show of camaraderie, the team behind Baahubali 2: The Conclusion has congratulated Dhurandhar 2: The Revenge after it dethroned their long-standing North America box office record.
Record broken after nearly a decade
After holding the top spot for nine years, Baahubali 2’s benchmark in North America has finally been surpassed

The Ranveer Singh-starrer crossed the $20.80 million mark within just nine days, overtaking Baahubali 2’s lifetime total in the region.Dhurandhar 2, starring Ranveer Singh and directed by Aditya Dhar, achieved the milestone in under 10 days, a feat that has impressed both fans and industry insiders.

Reacting to the development, the makers of Baahubali 2, including its producer Shobu Yarlagadda, extended their congratulations to the Dhurandhar 2 team. Taking to X, he wrote, "Yesterday I watched #Dhurandhar2TheRevenge and needless to say I loved it and thoroughly enjoyed the film! Happy to see it breaking all the records and setting new box office benchmarks in India and worldwide! Congratulations to the entire team!"
