In an interview with Filmfare, the actor said, "I never talk about my relationships. There will always be countless stories about every actor and their personal life. When you’re in the industry, everything tends to get blown out of proportion. Even if you talk about my relationships, like my college romances, people are quick to label or count them. And sometimes things are just not true."
Aaryan added, "I would date an actress... Because she would understand my work. I’ve had breakups before, and often it was because of me being an actor. People from outside the industry don’t understand the pressures. So I feel that. An actress would understand me."
He also revealed, "I give in too much. I’m a giver in a relationship. I’ve realised that this has been a problem at times."
