Plot
‘Taskaree: The Smuggler’s Web’ follows Superintendent Arjun Meena (Emraan Hashmi), a calm and methodical customs officer based at Mumbai International Airport, who leads a specialised task force charged with dismantling a powerful international smuggling syndicate. The narrative delves into the “shadowy underworld” of contraband trafficking and the cat-and-mouse dynamics between law enforcement and crime bosses.

In addition to Emraan Hashmi as the lead, Taskaree features a strong ensemble cast that includes Sharad Kelkar as crime boss Bada Chaudhary, Amruta Khanvilkar, Zoya Afroz, Anurag Sinha, Nandish Singh Sandhu, Anuja Sathe, Freddy Daruwala, Jameel Khan, Hemant Kher, and Veerendra Saxena in supporting roles.
The series is created by acclaimed filmmaker Neeraj Pandey, with direction credits shared by Pandey alongside Raghav M. Jairath and B.A. Fida. It is produced under the banner of Friday Storytellers for Netflix.
