The teaser of Bandar is finally here, and it looks unlike anything currently dominating mainstream cinema. Headlined by Bobby Deol and directed by Anurag Kashyap, the film’s first glimpse promises madness, mystery, and vintage Kashyap-style chaos rolled into one.
The film also stars Sanya Malhotra, Raj B Shetty, Sapna Pabbi, Saba Azad, Riddhi Sen, Jitendra Joshi, Indrajeet, and Nagesh Bhonsle.
Bobby Deol’s wildest avatar yet?
The teaser marks Bobby Deol’s first-ever collaboration with Anurag Kashyap, and going by the first footage, the actor seems to have embraced one of the most unconventional roles of his career.
After the brooding intensity of Animal, Bobby appears in yet another avatar here- flamboyant, unpredictable, and soaked in disco-era energy. One of the biggest highlights of the teaser is the reimagined version of the classic ’70s number Come On Baby Dil Kisko Degi, which plays through the madness unfolding onscreen.
The teaser initially feels playful and chaotic, but midway through, it takes a darker and far more layered turn, hinting at a story much bigger than it first appears.
A return to classic Anurag Kashyap madness
As the teaser builds momentum, it carries the unmistakable energy of an Anurag Kashyap directorial- gritty, eccentric, fast-paced, and constantly unpredictable.
The film has been written by Sudip Sharma and Abhishek Banerjee, the duo behind acclaimed titles like Paatal Lok, Kohrra, and Udta Punjab.
Big-screen release locked
Produced by Nikhil Dwivedi’s Saffron Magicworks and backed by Zee Studios, Bandar is slated for a worldwide theatrical release on June 5, 2026. With its eccentric visuals, pulpy soundtrack, and chaotic energy, the teaser suggests that Bandar may end up being one of the most unusual Hindi releases of the year.
