The President of the Republic of the Philippines began his five-day State Visit to India on Monday.
During his visit, Marcos Jr. will meet with President Droupadi Murmu, conduct bilateral conversations with Prime Minister Modi, and participate in a number of events aimed at strengthening bilateral relations.

Modi and Marcos Jr are scheduled to hold bilateral discussions on August 5.
The visit by President Marcos Jr. coincides with the 75th anniversary of India-Philippines diplomatic ties.
The visit provides a chance for both leaders to lay the groundwork for future bilateral collaboration as well as engage on regional and international topics of mutual concern, according to a statement issued by the Ministry of External
