Speaking about the debate to Vogue, Kiara said that burnout serves no purpose in any profession, and that healthier working hours are essential not just for actors, but for everyone involved behind the scenes. Her comments come at a time when discussions around long shooting hours, physical exhaustion and emotional strain in Bollywood have gained renewed momentum.

She said, "Burnout helps no one in any industry." For the 34-year-old, it is "dignity, balance, and respect" that form the foundation of mental well-being. She also added that the "sound of Saraayah giggling in her sleep" is her remedy to exhaustion.
Kiara’s perspective is shaped by her own life changes. As a new mother, she acknowledged that priorities naturally shift, and mental and emotional health take centre stage. She emphasised that productivity does not come from overworking, but from being physically and mentally present, adding that compassion in the workplace ultimately leads to better creative outcomes.
Deepika Padukone’s original remarks had sparked widespread discussion across the industry, with opinions divided between practicality and progress. Kiara’s support, however, places the focus squarely on sustainability, arguing that structured work hours and respect for personal boundaries can benefit not just actors but technicians, crew members, and production teams as well.
On the work front, Kiara Advani was last seen in War 2. The actress will next be seen alongside Yash in Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. She will play a character called Nadia in the upcoming film that also stars Nayanthara.
