Dividend By IRCTC Limited: Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Ltd (IRCTC) has announced the record date for the payment of final dividend
to its shareholders for the Financial Year ended on March 31, 2025.
In a latest exchange filing, IRCTC said that its board has declared a 50 per cent final dividend on shares with a face value of Rs 2. This translates to a payout of Re 1 per share.
"We are pleased to inform you that the Board of Directors, at its meeting held on Wednesday, 28th May, 2025 has considered and recommended a final dividend of Rs 1.00 (Rupees One only) per equity share having face value of Rs 2 (Rupees Two) each for the Financial Year ended on 31st March, 2025," the company said in a filing.
Additionally, IRCTC revealed that August 22, 2025 (Friday), has been set as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders' participation in the corporate action.
The final dividend on the declaration at the AGM will be paid within thirty days from the conclusion of the AGM.
"This is to inform that the Company has fixed Friday, August 22, 2025, as the “Record Date” for the purpose of determining the members entitled to receive the final dividend for the financial year 2024-25. It is also provided that the dividend, if declared at the AGM, will be paid within a period of 30 (thirty) days from the conclusion of the AGM," the company said.
Furthermore, the company also announced that August 22, 2025, is the “Cut-off Date” for the purpose of determining the members eligible to vote on the resolutions set out in the Notice of the AGM or to attend the twenty-sixth AGM.
Earlier this year, IRCTC had paid an interim dividend of Rs 3 to its investors. Last year, IRCTC paid an interim dividend and final dividend of Rs 4 in November and August, respectively. In 2023, the company paid an interim dividend of Rs 2.5 in November 2023.
IRCTC shares traded 1.15 per cent lower at Rs 721.05 on BSE around 11:45 PM.
