Dividend By PFC Limited: Power Finance Corporation Ltd (PFC), a Maharatna PSU, on Wednesday (06 August), declared an interim dividend for its shareholders
in the quarterly results for the April to June period of current financial year (Q1 FY2026. Besides, the PSU has also set the record date for the payment of the interim dividend.
PFC Ltd. is a constituent of the BSE 100 index, and it is a company which is involved in financing and developing the power sector.
In an exchange filing, PFC said that its board has declared a 37 per cent interim dividend on shares with a face value of Rs 10. This translates to a payout of Rs 3.70 per share.
"Declaration of interim dividend at Rs 3.70 (Rupees Three and Seventy Paisa only) per equity share (i.e. @ 37.00 %) (Subject to deduction of TDS) on the face value of the paid-up equity shares of Rs 10 each for the FY 2025-26," the company said.
PFC Dividend 2025 Record Date
PFC said that August 18, 2025, has been set as the record date for determining the eligibility of shareholders' participation in the corporate action.
"Further, it is to inform that 18.08.2025 (Monday) shall be reckoned as the 'Record Date' for the purpose of ascertaining the eligibility of shareholders for payment of Interim Dividend for the FY2025-26," the company added in the filing.
On when Rs 3.70 interim dividend will be paid to eligible shareholders, PFC said: "The date of payment /dispatch of the aforesaid interim dividend shall be on or before 05.09.2025."
PFC Q1 Results FY2026
The government-owned non-banking financial company (NBFC) reported a 25 per cent increase in consolidated net profit, reaching Rs 8,981 crore for the quarter ending June 30 of FY26. In comparison, the company had posted a net profit of Rs 7,182 crore during the same period in FY25.
Total income rose to Rs 28,628.92 crore from Rs 24,736.68 crore in the year-ago quarter, representing a growth of 15.7 per cent. Expenses were at Rs 17,429.93 crore as against Rs 15,843.01 crore (a 10 per cent rise).
In the first quarter, the company's consolidated loan asset book grew 13 per cent to Rs 11,34,347 crore from Rs 10,04,735 crore as on June 30, 2024.
PFC Dividend History
Earlier this year, PFC had paid a final dividend of Rs 2.05 to its investors. In 2025, the PSU paid an interim dividend of 3.50 in March and February each. In November last year, the state-run company had rewarded its investors by paying them an interim dividend of Rs 3.50 on each stock of Rs 10 FV.
PFC shares traded 1 per cent higher at Rs 417 on NSE around 2 PM.
