The commencement of regular commercial operations for train number 26963/26964, the Udaipur City-Ahmedabad (Asarwa)-Udaipur City Vande Bharat Express, is scheduled for February 18, 2026. This launch follows the discontinuation of two previous Vande Bharat services: the Udaipur City-Jaipur route (train number 20979/80), which ceased operations on February 15, and the Udaipur City-Agra Cantt route (train number 20981/82), ending on February 16. This strategic rescheduling aims to optimize the Vande Bharat network and provide enhanced connectivity.
