The airline will be serving destinations such as Ahmedabad, Bengaluru, Chennai, Delhi, Goa, Hyderabad, Kolkata, and Kochi, alongside other important urban centers like Lucknow, Pune, and Jaipur. Furthermore, travelers can look forward to new connections to Amritsar, Dehradun, Indore, Nagpur, Raipur, and Ranchi, demonstrating a commitment to broadening access to various parts of the country. The new network also includes routes to Bhubaneswar, Guwahati, and Bagdogra, facilitating easier access to eastern and northeastern regions. Enhanced Connectivity & Operations
IndiGo's launch of over 30 new routes from the Navi Mumbai International Airport marks a significant enhancement of air connectivity for the region, with operations scheduled to commence in January 2025. This strategic move involves introducing a total of 32 new routes, encompassing both domestic and international destinations. The airline plans to operate over 400 weekly departures from Navi Mumbai following the addition of these new flights, signifying a substantial operational presence. Notably, IndiGo has already initiated twice-daily direct flights between Bhavnagar and Navi Mumbai, utilizing ATR aircraft for convenient travel between these two cities. The airline has also commenced direct flights to Jamnagar, further strengthening its presence in Gujarat, which now sees over 1,400 weekly flights connecting to six cities in the state, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Surat, Rajkot, Bhavnagar, and Jamnagar. The full list of new routes includes a variety of domestic sectors such as Navi Mumbai to Agra, Ayodhya, Bagdogra, Belgaum, Chandigarh, Diu, Kannur, Kolkata, Patna, Rajkot, Srinagar, Varanasi, and Visakhapatnam, among others. International destinations being added include Bangkok, Singapore, Dubai, Muscat, Kathmandu, Colombo, Dhaka, Kuala Lumpur, Sharjah, and Doha. The Navi Mumbai International Airport itself is projected to be operational by the end of 2024, with an eventual capacity to handle 60 million passengers annually by 2030, positioning it as a major aviation gateway.
