Helpline Unveiled
To facilitate voter assistance, the Election Commission has activated a dedicated helpline number in 12 states and union territories ahead of the Special
Summary Revision (SSR). This initiative aims to make it easier for citizens to access election-related information and resolve any queries they might have. The helpline serves as a single point of contact for voters, streamlining the process of seeking assistance and ensuring greater participation in the electoral process. By providing a readily available channel for support, the Election Commission seeks to empower voters and enhance the overall integrity of the elections.
Contacting Authorities
The voter helpline offers a convenient way for citizens to get in touch with election officials. This can be used for a variety of concerns, from verifying voter registration details to reporting electoral violations. Besides the voter helpline, there are also various other means to contact the election officials, including official websites and physical offices. These alternative modes of communication ensure that voters have multiple avenues for accessing the information they need. The Election Commission encourages voters to utilize these available channels to stay informed and actively participate in the democratic process.
