Building upon Gemini's existing Chrome integration, which allows for webpage analysis and summarization, 'Skills' takes efficiency a step further. It enables the storage of recurring prompts, eliminating the need for repeated typing. For example, if you often seek vegan alternatives when browsing recipes, you can save this prompt as a Skill. This saved Skill can then be instantly applied to any similar webpage with a simple command or click. The feature is designed to be accessible via a forward slash (/) or a plus (+) button within the browser, and its ability to operate across multiple open tabs makes it exceptionally useful for comparative or analytical tasks, streamlining complex browsing workflows for users.
Customizable Workflows and Access
The 'Skills' feature in Chrome is designed for flexibility, allowing users to fully edit and customize their saved prompts to perfectly suit their needs.
