Baisaran meadow, Jammu and Kashmir authorities have implemented a robust QR code-based identification system. Digital Verification Process
At the heart of this new safety protocol is a mandatory, stringent police background check for every service provider. Coupled with Aadhaar-linked registration, this rigorous vetting process is a prerequisite for obtaining a unique QR code. When scanned by tourists using their mobile devices, this code instantly reveals crucial information. Travelers can access details such as the service provider's full name, contact number, residential address, their official registration status, and confirmation of their police verification. This transparent system empowers tourists with immediate access to credentials, fostering a sense of security. Mohit Khanna, a visitor, described it as a "great initiative" that instills feelings of happiness and security, noting the ease with which one can instantly verify a person's credentials with a single scan, making their experience much safer and more manageable.
