Boosting Healthcare Infrastructure
The budget included provisions for strengthening healthcare infrastructure across the country. One significant announcement was the establishment of a NIMHANS-2,
indicating a focus on advancing mental healthcare. Furthermore, the National Mental Health Centres in Ranchi and Tezpur are set to be upgraded into regional apex institutions. Alongside these advancements in mental health, the budget also promises the establishment of five medical hubs and an increase in the allied care and AYUSH workforce. Expanding Educational Reach
The Education Budget 2026 places a strong emphasis on extending educational opportunities and improving infrastructure.
