NDA's Triumph Recognized
Amit Shah, the Union Home Minister, enthusiastically congratulated Shri Narendra Modi and Shri Nitish Kumar, along with all leaders and workers of the NDA,
on their success in the Bihar elections. He extended a heartfelt salute to the dedicated workers of the BJP in Bihar, acknowledging their tireless efforts, from the grassroots level to the state leadership, for actualizing the victory. Shah recognized the significance of the election results, proclaiming it as a triumph for every Bihari who believes in development. He acknowledged that the NDA secured a significant mandate, winning 202 seats, with the BJP alone claiming 89 seats, and their ally, the JD(U), securing 85 seats. He emphasized the resounding endorsement of the NDA's commitment to development, women's safety, and the welfare of the underprivileged, as well as the importance of Modi's dedicated work for Bihar and Nitish Kumar's efforts to steer the state away from the perceived 'jungle raj'.
Public's Approval Noted
The Home Minister emphasized that the comprehensive mandate reflected the public's approval of the NDA's focus on development, the security of women, good governance, and the well-being of the poor in Bihar. Shah highlighted that every single vote cast by the people of Bihar signified their confidence in the Modi government's policies, which aimed at combating infiltrators, who threatened India's security and resources, and those who supported them. He underscored the public's strong rejection of those who engaged in vote-bank politics by protecting infiltrators. Further, he expressed his gratitude to the people of 'Bihar Bhumi', recognizing them as the guardians of knowledge, hard work, and democracy. Shah also mentioned that the people of Bihar had conveyed the nation's sentiment, highlighting the necessity of purifying voter lists and opposing politics that went against it. He also assured the people of Bihar, particularly the women, that the NDA government, under the leadership of Modi, would fulfill the mandate entrusted to it.
