design cleverly combines both arrival and departure functions within one expansive structure, eliminating the need for passengers to navigate between separate buildings. This consolidation aims to simplify the travel process, reduce walking distances, and enhance overall passenger flow. The terminal is thoughtfully organized across two distinct levels to optimize operational efficiency. The upper level is dedicated to departures, ensuring a clear pathway for those embarking on their journeys, while the lower level exclusively handles arrivals, creating a focused and less confusing environment for passengers reaching their destinations. This dual-level approach is meticulously planned to prevent congestion and streamline movement for everyone using the airport's facilities.
Convenient Parking & Access
Passenger convenience begins the moment they arrive at Noida International Airport, with a strategically designed parking facility located immediately before the main terminal building. This dedicated zone is engineered to accommodate approximately 1,200 vehicles simultaneously, ensuring ample space for travelers arriving by private transport. The parking area offers direct and seamless access to the terminal, significantly cutting down on lengthy walks and improving the overall ease of reaching the departure or arrival areas. To further facilitate smooth transit within the terminal, a comprehensive network of lifts and escalators has been installed at key strategic points. These vertical transportation systems are designed to assist passengers in effortlessly moving between the different levels, particularly beneficial for individuals managing heavy luggage or with mobility considerations. The placement of these amenities is carefully considered to minimize any potential for overcrowding, ensuring a more comfortable experience for all users.
Streamlined Entry & Check-In
The departure experience at Noida International Airport is enhanced by a total of eight entry gates, each featuring eight individual access points. This robust configuration is designed to allow a high volume of passengers to enter the terminal concurrently, thereby substantially reducing waiting times at the entrance. Embracing modern technology, all these entry gates are fully integrated with the Digi Yatra app, enabling a contactless and efficient entry process. For the convenience of airline personnel and airport staff, a separate, dedicated gate has also been established. Inside the terminal, airline check-in counters are prominently situated at the front, where passengers can efficiently manage their baggage check-in and collect their boarding passes, with airline representatives available to offer assistance. Additionally, a self-bag drop facility is provided for passengers who have already completed their check-in online, allowing them to independently tag and deposit their luggage, further expediting the process.
Expedited Passenger Processing
Noida International Airport is pioneering a remarkably efficient passenger processing model, with an ambitious target of completing check-in and baggage drop procedures within just 10 minutes. This accelerated timeline is achievable through the strategic integration of self-service kiosks, advanced digital processing technologies, and a terminal layout meticulously designed to minimize congestion and reduce the time passengers spend within the facility. This focus on speed and efficiency aims to significantly enhance the overall travel experience, allowing passengers to move through the initial stages of their journey with unprecedented swiftness. Advanced Security Screening
Security screening at Noida International Airport is equipped with state-of-the-art facilities designed for both efficiency and thoroughness. The airport features a total of 13 Door Frame Metal Detectors, with 12 designated for passenger screening and one reserved specifically for airport staff and crew members, ensuring dedicated lanes for different user groups. Complementing this are six Automatic Tray Retrieval Systems for bag scanning, which are instrumental in managing the flow of trays during security checks, thereby speeding up the process and reducing potential bottlenecks. Following a successful security check, passengers proceed through a clearly marked corridor on the left, which guides them towards the boarding area. This thoughtful layout ensures a logical progression through the airport's facilities, minimizing confusion and facilitating a smooth transition to the next stage of their journey.
Boarding Gates & Amenities
Upon clearing security, passengers will find themselves in a well-organized boarding section. Two escalators are strategically placed at the end of the corridor to guide travelers down to the boarding level. The layout clearly delineates pathways, with a dedicated food court situated on the left side for passengers to relax and refresh. Boarding gates are conveniently located on the right side of this area. In total, the airport offers 10 boarding gates, supplemented by 2 bus gates for flights requiring transport to the aircraft via bus. Passengers directed to the bus gates will need to proceed one additional level down, where similar infrastructure and amenities are available. The arrival section is also fully operational, ready to welcome incoming passengers with the same efficiency and comfort.
