Dietary Shift's Impact
Karan Wahi has recently undergone a significant dietary change, opting to give up non-vegetarian food, a decision that has yielded noticeable improvements
in his health. For approximately four to five years, Wahi struggled with persistent skin allergies, experiencing extreme dryness from the waist down, along with dryness on his hands and legs. However, within three to five months of abstaining from meat and other animal products, he has reported a complete resolution of these skin issues. This transformation has not only impacted his physical health but also contributed to a notable shift in his mental state. He describes feeling significantly calmer and less prone to reactive behaviors than before, embracing a more empathetic outlook.
Embracing Spirituality
Parallel to his dietary changes, Karan Wahi has also reconnected with his spiritual side, a journey that has been instrumental in managing his emotional well-being. Around four to five months ago, Wahi received advice to wear a Tulsi mala and engage in naam jaap (chanting) as a means to control anger and stress. Although he hadn't actively considered such practices before, he found himself drawn to spirituality, which he had drifted away from over time. This renewed focus has led to what he describes as a 'beautiful' last few months. He actively sought out a Tulsi mala from Vrindavan, signifying the depth of his commitment. Wahi credits naam jaap with immense personal benefit, noting that it helps him forget stress and worries. He follows the teachings of Neem Karoli Baba, through whom he was introduced to Premanand Maharaj Ji. Now, when he experiences idle moments or finds himself engaging in negative thought patterns, he feels an inclination to practice naam jaap, finding it a positive and fulfilling activity that replaces unproductive habits like doom-scrolling.
