To address the influx of pilgrims, Southern Railway has announced special trains. Train No. 06065, designated as the Kollam – Kakinada Town Express Special,
is set to depart from Kollam at 3.30 am on January 15. This service provides a direct route for travelers embarking on their journey to Sabarimala from the Kollam region. Kakinada to Ernakulam
Following the initial service, Train No. 06066, the Kakinada Town – Ernakulam Jn Express Special, is scheduled to depart from Kakinada Town at 6 pm on January 16. This provides a connection for passengers from Kakinada and surrounding areas, ensuring they can reach their destinations in time for the Makaravilakku festival. Thiruvananthapuram Service
