decision isn't driven by typical diet or weight concerns, but rather by a personal physical reaction. Kumar explained that consuming samosas leads to acidity and discomfort, prompting his long-term abstinence. He even humorously pointed out that his commitment to avoiding samosas remained unbroken even while filming the iconic song 'Jab Tak Rahega Samose Mein Aaloo,' highlighting the depth of his personal health choices regarding this widely adored street food.
The Health Equation
Dr. Parin Sangoi, a consultant interventional cardiologist, sheds light on the cumulative health impacts of regularly consuming fried and processed foods like samosas. He explains that each serving can contribute to cholesterol buildup, inflammation, and oxidative stress within the arteries. Over time, this can lead to the formation of plaque, narrowing of the blood vessels, and a reduced flow of blood to the heart. Dr. Sangoi emphasizes that what may seem like a harmless indulgence today can significantly increase the risk of developing heart disease in the future.
