TVK's State Lead
As the vote counting progresses for the Tamil Nadu Assembly Elections 2026, the Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) has emerged as a significant frontrunner.
Across the state's 234 constituencies, TVK is currently leading in a substantial number of seats, indicating a strong performance. Reports suggest TVK is leading in figures ranging from 112 to 172 seats at various stages of the counting. For instance, at one point, TVK was leading in 116 constituencies, just two seats shy of the 118 required for a simple majority. The ongoing counting process across all constituencies will ultimately determine the final seat distribution and the formation of the next government.
