A Grand Investment
Social media star Gaurav Taneja has unveiled his impressive Rs 10 crore farmhouse located in Gurugram, which he deems his most significant financial commitment
to date. This expansive property transcends its monetary value, serving as the operational hub for various facets of his professional life, from agricultural endeavors to the management of his burgeoning businesses. It represents a tangible manifestation of his success, providing a foundation for his diverse ventures.
Tradition Meets Modernity
The architectural design of the farmhouse artfully integrates traditional Indian building techniques with contemporary functionality. A notable feature, observed by guest Farah Khan, is the application of cow dung plaster on interior walls, a practice known as 'lipai.' This natural material not only provides excellent thermal insulation, keeping the interiors cool, but also possesses disinfectant properties. Remarkably, the farmhouse maintains a fresh ambiance, free from any strong odors, defying conventional expectations associated with such traditional methods, demonstrating a harmonious blend of old-world wisdom and practical living.
The Herd's Contribution
At the heart of this unique venture lies a sizable cowshed housing approximately 200 cows. Gaurav Taneja has adopted a strategic approach, choosing not to market raw milk directly. Instead, the milk from his herd is meticulously processed into high-value products such as A2 ghee and butter. This focus on value addition transforms a primary agricultural output into premium artisanal food items, maximizing the potential and profitability derived from his livestock.
Farmhouse Business Hub
The farmhouse operates as the central command for Gaurav Taneja's food brand, Rosier. From this rural setting, he oversees the production and distribution of a range of traditional Indian food products, including buttermilk, ghee, and a distinct line of pickles. During Farah Khan's visit, she was introduced to 'Ghar Ka Achaar,' a specific pickle range managed under the Rosier brand, showcasing the depth and variety of his culinary offerings managed directly from his farm.
Simple Delights Shared
The experience at the farmhouse culminated in a heartwarming, home-style meal of litti chokha, shared by Gaurav Taneja with his family and Farah Khan. This intimate gathering underscored the grounded and authentic lifestyle that underpins his public persona. It provided a glimpse into the simple pleasures and warm connections that are cherished away from the fast-paced world of online fame and entrepreneurial demands, highlighting the personal side of his success.
