Amid the massive hype surrounding its release, Kiara shared a special post on her Instagram handle. Sharing a behind-the-scenes photo, she penned a note about exciting new adventures, being comfortable with the unfamiliar and staying curious as an actress.
Kiara Advani Says Toxic Helped Her 'Be Comfortable With Unfamiliar'
Kiara Advani, in her latest Instagram post, said that films have a unique way of allowing actors to experience worlds they have never known. She added that every new character, set and challenging experience teaches them something new about their own capabilities.
Talking about Toxic: A Fairytale for Grown-Ups, his one taught me to be comfortable with the unfamiliar, to stay curious, to keep learning and to find joy in the adventure of it all. For those unversed, Kiara has reportedly undergone special training for aerial stunts, flips and other circus-style performances.
Yash Lauds Kiara Advani
Recently, at the film’s music launch in Mumbai, Yash spoke highly of his Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups co-starco-star Kiara Advani.
He praised her professionalism and the immense effort she put into the project. He revealed that the film’s demanding nature had initially made him concerned about her as she was pregnant, but she consistently gave her best and remained deeply committed to the role.
Yash added that the team was extremely protective of her throughout the shoot, with him and director Geetu Mohandas even looking out for her like her personal "bouncers." Calling her contribution to the film special, he expressed his gratitude to her.
About Toxic: A Fairytale For Grown-Ups
Toxic is scheduled to hit theatres on August 26 after several postponements. It will release in Kanadda and English.
The film has secured an ‘A’ certificate from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) and has a runtime of 3 hours and 14 minutes.
Backed by Yash as one of its co-producers, it explores the dark world of a gangster navigating violent conflicts and power battles in post-Independence Goa.
