Amid all the craze, Danish Pandor has made a rather surprising revelation. The actor, who plays Uzair Baloch in the Ranveer Singh starrer, has revealed that Dhar didn’t initially plan a sequel. In an interview with News18, Pandor shared, "There was no initial discussion to make a two-part film. When we were shooting for it and the makers came across the footage, they felt it was really amazing. The script was so gripping and good that they couldn’t chop it off. That’s when they decided to release the film in two instalments. It would be the best gift that we could give the audience. That’s how the plan got executed." Dhurandhar 2's Uzair Baloch On Sequel Danish added that the three-month gap between the two releases played a crucial role in the success of Dhurandhar: The Revenge. He explained that both parts were shot together, just like Gangs of Wasseypur. This approach was different from most sequels that arrive after a long break. The actor feels that this helped maintain strong momentum as the story remained fresh in the audience’s mind. He also spoke about how Dhurandhar's OTT release helped fans revisit the project. In the same interview, Pandor expressed deep gratitude for the film’s success. He credited God, along with casting director Mukesh Chhabra for roping him in and Aditya Dhar for trusting his abilities. Despite the massive success of Dhurandhar and the exposure, Danish is still actively reaching out to filmmakers and casting directors. He believes that it is important to keep seeking opportunities and not become complacent, even after success. However, he did acknowledge that offers are coming in after the fame.
