In a recent interview with ETimes, Kajol has mentioned that her daughter Nysa will not be entering the film industry, "She's not stepping into acting. She is 22 years old and she has pretty much made up her mind that she's not going to be joining the industry."

Further expressing her views on the popular Nepo Baby tags to the B-town kids who have entered the industry, following their family's footsteps, she has said, "When you enter the film industry, you have to realise that there are pros and cons and you will be subjected to scrutiny. Some of it is harsh, some of it is ridiculous and horrible, but it is all part of your growth and journey. It is something that everyone has to face. It's not something you have a choice about."

In a recent event held in the city, Kajol was seen appearing in a black bodycon dress with golden neck design. A paparazzi video zooming in on the actress instantly went viral, while netizens questioned her dressing style.
Amid the talk, Indian TV host, actor and model Mini Mathur's comment took the attention where she is seen slamming the videographer as she wrote, "How dare you zoom in on her body???? She doesn’t owe you guys eternal youth. You don’t get to decide how she should look."
On the work front, Kajol was last seen in the theatre release Maa, which has now released on OTT platform Netflix on August 22.
