On September 28, Ranbir Kapoor turned 44 and celebrated his birthday with his loved ones. The Bollywood star took some time off and stepped out for his birthday celebrations
in the city. A video of the Ramayana actor cutting his birthday cakes has gone viral on social media. In the clip, Ranbir can be seen blowing out candles before cutting the first cake. The paparazzi, on ther hand, sang 'happy birthday' song for the actor. Moving on, the 44-year-old greeted his fans with hand heart gesture from his residence's balcony. He was accompanied by his beloved wife, Alia Bhatt.

Ranbir looked handosme in a grey shirt paired with same colour pants. The Bollywood actor happily posed for the shutterbugs who were oustide his residence for the birthday celebrations. Another clip of Ranbir making hand heart gesture for fans is doing rounds on social media. The actor also waved at his ardent followers from the balcony. Earlier, Neetu Kapoor shared an adorable birthday wish for her son, Ranbir. Sharing an unseen picture with him, the veteran actress captioned her Instagram story, "Happy happy to you Rana. You are mine and I feel blessed."
Ranbir's Ramayana co-star, Ravie Dubey, also dedicated a special post for him. Taking to his Instagram handle, the actor penned, "I don’t think Ranbir bhai knows how much I’ve learned from him while standing beside him as his younger brother. I’ve watched his humility, his commitment, and the depth of his investment in every moment. What stays with me most is how quietly he does it."
He continued to praise Ranbir, saying that he puts so much into the character and film, yet never makes his hard work conspicuous or allows it to weigh on anyone else on set.
Ranbir Kapoor's work front
On the work front, Ranbir will next be seen in Ramayana: Part 1. The actor plays the role of Lord Rama in Nitesh Tiwari's mythological epic. Also starring Ravie, Sai Pallavi, Yash, Sunny Deol and others, the movie is ready for a big-screen release on Diwali 2026. Post that, Ranbir has Sanjay Leela Bhansali's Love & War with Alia and Vicky Kaushal lined up. It will hit the big screen on January 21, 2027. Next year, the second part of Ramayana will arrive on Diwali.
