Security was tightened outside Salman Khan’s Galaxy Apartments residence in Mumbai’s Bandra area after gunmen opened fire at Tiger Shroff’s car in Juhu
on October 18, 2026. Visuals circulating from outside Salman’s home showed increased security activity, drawing attention amid reports of a threat against people in the film industry who continue to work with the superstar. The threat was reportedly made in a message claiming responsibility for the attack on Tiger. However, authorities have not publicly confirmed that the additional security was ordered specifically because of the shooting, or that the incident and the security measures are directly connected.
Security increased outside Salman Khan's Bandra residence
A video shared by ANI showed security activity outside Salman Khan's residence in Mumbai following the firing incident involving Tiger Shroff. The visuals drew attention as the police investigation into the shooting continued and reports emerged of a purported threat directed at Salman and people associated with him.
Salman lives at Galaxy Apartments in Bandra, where security has been a concern since gunmen fired outside his residence in April 2024. The latest visuals have once again put the actor's security arrangements in focus. Although the timing has prompted speculation about a connection with the Tiger Shroff shooting, there has been no official confirmation that the additional security outside Salman's home was a direct response to that incident.
Salman's connection to Tiger Shroff shooting
Salman's name cropped up in the discussion after the firing on Tiger's car was claimed by an audio message purportedly linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang. Reports said that the person threatened people in the film industry who continued to work with Salman and demanded an apology from the actor to Lawrence Bishnoi and the Bishnoi community.
The Lawrence Bishnoi gang has been threatening Salman for the last few years. The animosity is largely traced back to the 1998 blackbuck poaching case in Rajasthan, where Salman was booked for allegedly killing blackbucks during the filming of Hum Saath Saath Hain.
Tiger Shroff firing incident
The shooting happened on October 18 when Tiger was coming out of a football ground in Mumbai's Juhu area. Unidentified attackers allegedly fired several rounds at his car. Gunfire left Tiger unscathed, but his driver and another individual were said to have been hit.
The investigation was started by the Mumbai Police, and CCTV footage and leads were checked to find the people responsible. The incident has brought back concerns about threats to film personalities in Mumbai, especially in the backdrop of earlier firing incidents involving prominent personalities in the entertainment industry.
