in 2026. His Instagram broke the internet after he shared the famous Avengers’ logo, but without a caption. Leaving it up to his fans to decode the hint, Ryan generated extreme hype around the upcoming MCU venture.
Ryan Reynolds to join Avengers?
Reacting to Ryan’s cryptic post, one fan wrote, “Pity tell me that it is a sign,” whereas another commented, “alright, what are you up to?” An excited fan said, “If you are saying what I think you’re saying, I’m actually gonna scream.” “Don’t do that. Don’t give me hope,” wrote one.

In a previous interview with Time, Ryan opened up about the possibility of Deadpool joining the Avengers. He said, “If Deadpool becomes an Avenger or an X-Man, we’re at the end. That’s wish fulfillment, and you can’t give him that.”
On the other hand, Hugh Jackman, who is popular as Wolverine, was asked previously if he would feature in Avengers: Doomsday. His cryptic response was: “I really can't say much, except when you say 'appear', [it's] more like dominate and destroy every other character—I'm kidding. I really have nothing to add, and if I did, I would find a really cool way to not say it, but I actually have nothing to add.”
About upcoming Avengers movies
In May, Disney announced that the release of Marvel Studios' highly anticipated projects, Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, have been pushed back by seven months.
Avengers: Doomsday, initially set to release on May 1, 2026, will now hit theatres on December 18, 2026. The delay comes as part of a broader reshuffle of the MCU release schedule. Additionally, Avengers: Secret Wars, another key instalment, has also been pushed back from May 2, 2027, to December 17, 2027.
