Taking to his official Instagram handle, Ranveer Singh dropped an exciting promo of the film, which features animated characters of the film, including him, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun and others. The clip features the first released song of the film - Aari Aari which is also being loved by fans.Along with the post, Ranveer Singh wrote, "LET THE GAMES BEGIN. Advance bookings for Dhurandhar The Revenge are open nationwide. Book Your Tickets Now/ #DhurandharTheRevenge Releases Worldwide on 19 March, on Gudi Padwa, Ugadi, and Eid."
Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar breaks US sales record
According to figures shared by box office tracking account Venky Box Office on X, Dhurandhar: The Revenge has collected $1,072,512 in premiere advance sales in the United States alone. The movie has been scheduled across 690 locations with 1,765 shows, and around 67,143tickets have already been sold.The total North America premiere advance ticket sales are at $1.31M. This figure comes 5 days ahead of the movie's grand release and is set to boost further in the coming days.
What we know about Dhurandhar 2?
Dhurandhar 2 will bring Ranveer Singh back as Hamza Mazari, also known as Jaskirat Singh Rangi, a character that gained massive popularity after the first film. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the movie features a powerful ensemble cast. Arjun Rampal plays Major Iqbal, Sanjay Dutt appears as SP Chaudhary Aslam, and R. Madhavan takes on the role of Ajay Sanyal. Sara Arjun, Danish Pandor and Rakesh Bedi will also return, reprising their roles from the original film.
Dhurandhar 2 is expected to pick from the cliffhanger where Ranveer Singh's Hamza Ali Mazari kills Akshaye Khanna's Rehman Dakait to take over the leadership of the city as King Of Lyari. The movie will explore the dual idenities of Ranveer's characters Jaskirat and Hamza and what led him to follow the path of serving the country by turning into a spy for operation Dhurandhar.
