Sai added, "I don't know if it's quite famous, the picture, but there's a very slender Ram and his head is a little tilted, and there's this bow this way. And there's a very small, petite Sita and there's a Ram on the other side. So that's the image I remember from my childhood. Now suddenly I could see that Ram that I'd seen in my childhood and I was awestruck.”

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari and produced by Namit Malhotra’s Prime Focus Studios in collaboration with DNEG and Yash’s Monster Mind Creations, Ramayana Part 1 is slated to release during Diwali 2026, with Part 2 following during Diwali 2027.
