Talking about the initiative, Mrs Fadnavis said, "We have organised a beach cleanup at the Juhu beach today... Various organisations have joined us because we have to keep our beaches clean. As celebrating festivals is our right, we should also keep the beaches clean; it is our responsibility..."
She added, "Last night the immersion was completed and this morning we are conducting this cleanup drive at Juhu Beach... Our sea should shine, not be dirty. We must ensure that there is no dirt, and we don't create any dirt at all. If there is dirt, it is our responsibility to clean it..."
