set to reunite for a new comedy-drama directed by Anees Bazmee and produced by Dil Raju. The film also stars Raashii Khanna. Recently, Akshay posted a picture with Vidya and Raashii, announcing the completion of their Kerala schedule. Alongside the post, Akshay praised the crew, calling them “incredible.” On May 12, the makers finally announced the release date and built anticipation by saying "More updates soon!"

A few days ago, Akshay Kumar took to Instagram to share a picture of himself with Vidya Balan and Raashii Khanna, all smiles as they wrapped up their Kerala schedule. In the caption, he expressed his excitement, noting that there’s nothing better than working with great people in a beautiful location.
He also thanked director Anees Bazmee for his energetic guidance, while praising Vidya, Raashii, and the entire crew, calling this project especially meaningful for him.

Akshay Kumar recently appeared in Bhooth Bangla, reuniting with director Priyadarshan after 14 years. In the horror comedy, he plays Arjun Maurya, who returns to his ancestral village, Mangalpur, to oversee his sister’s (Mithila Palkar) wedding at the family palace. Though warned by the caretaker Shantaram (Asrani) about a terrifying local legend, a demon named Vadhusur who makes brides disappear on their wedding night, Arjun seems initially unconcerned. But the supernatural threat soon becomes very real, creating both horror and comedy events. The film also stars Paresh Rawal, Rajpal Yadav, Tabu, Wamiqa Gabbi, Jisshu Sengupta, and Rajesh Sharma, blending comedy and suspense with a multigenerational cast.
On the oher hand, Vidya Balan was last seen in Raja Shivaji, directed by and starring Riteish Deshmukh as Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj. She portrays Badi Begum, the influential ruler of the Bijapur Sultanate and mother of Ali Adil Shah II, who opposes Shivaji’s quest to establish Swarajya. The film chronicles the rise of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj, the founder of the Maratha Empire and focuses on his journey from a young visionary to a revered warrior king. Meanwhile, as per Sacnilk, on Day 11, Raja Shivaji collected Rs 2.40 crore across 3,775 shows and brought total India gross collections to Rs 83.80 crore and total India net collections to Rs 70.65 crore so far.
