Agastya Nanda on being offered Lt. Arun Khetarpal's role at 21
Earlier, in an interview with AajTak Agenda, Agastya revealed that he was 21 when Ikkis was offered to him. That was his first connection to the character and the story. Talking about playing a soldier, Agastya said, "When you are talking about a soldier, especially a Paramvir Chakra, the responsibility and passion for playing that role is on another level. It was really a delight."
The actor further mentioned, "I am most grateful for being like a fauji (soldier). Being a fauji is one of the best things. You learn such good manners, how to treat a lady, how to eat at a dining table, and how to address your seniors. Even if I didn't do the film, I am very grateful to experience the fauji lifestyle. I had an amazing time."
