Emraan Hashmi’s Awarapan 2 is highly anticipated and awaited. Disha Patani joins him in the romantic drama directed by Nitin Kakkar. As the countdown begins
to its August 14 release, the producer of the film, Vishesh Bhatt, interacted with the fans of the Emraan Hashmi-starrer. He addressed reports of Awarapan 2 being postponed averting a clash with Sunny Deol’s Batwara 1947 and Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups. Reacting to questions around Awarapan 2’s delay rumours, Vishesh said the production house, Vishesh Films, never postponed their films ever. However, since the film has been mounted on a massive scale and has extensive action sequences, they needed time to execute them correctly. In addition to this, Emraan sustained an injury in the middle of the shoot and he had to take a break to recover. Hence, Awarapan 2 had to be moved to August 14. Dismissing rumours of averting a clash with Batwara 1947, Vishesh said, “We are lucky to be coming to theatres with the legend Sunny Deol. This is our first holiday release.” Emraan joined the live interaction and confirmed that the film is not postponed. He said, “Joh mann chahe bol dete hai,” responding to internet rumours.
