After creating the fantasy world of Brahmastra, Ayan Mukerji steps into the action-thriller space for the first time. The filmmaker is reportedly being paid Rs 32 crore, placing him among the highest-paid directors in the industry today.
With a staggering RS 200 crore budget, War 2 is being touted as one of India’s costliest action films, shot across Spain, Italy, Abu Dhabi, Russia, Japan, and India. The film is slated to hit cinemas on August 14, 2025, in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Kannada.
