Yash's Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups is only a few days away from its theatrical release. Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the gangster drama is finally
ready to hit the silver screen on August 26 after much delay. It was initially set for a big-screen release on March 19 and was going to clash with Ranveer Singh's Dhurandhar: The Revenge. However, the clash was averted as Toxic got postponed. Ahead of its August 26 release, the Yash-starrer has received its certification from the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC). It has been cleared with an 'A' certificate.
Toxic Gets Censor Certificate: Know Plot And Runtime
Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups was certified on August 13, 2026 in Bengaluru. Accirding to CBFC's official website, Yash had applied for his gangster drama's certification. The total runtime of the film is 194.12 minutes which converts to 3 hours and 14 minutes.
As far as the movie's plot is concerned, Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups revolves aorund a gangster who navigates the complexities of loyalty, morality and the struggle for a personal redemption in a post independence Goa where violence and jealousy reign. "With its atmospheric world, brutal action sequences, and morally conflicted characters, the film explores the price one must pay for love and for finding redemption amidst the darkness," the plot reads.
That said, this project has been collectively produced by Yash under Monster Mind Creations and by Venkat Narayana under his production venture KVN Productions. Ujjwal Kulkarni has served as an editor, while Rajeev Ravi is created as the director of photography.

Meanwhile, the star cast of Toxic - A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups includes five actressses alongside Yash. Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Nayanthara, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria are the leading ladies of this project. While Yash has dual role in the movie, Kiara will be seen as Nadia. Huma, on the other hand, essays the character of Elizabeth. Tara is associated with the film as Rebecca, Rukmini is Mellisa, and Nayanthara plays Ganga.
According to multiple media reports, Kiara has been paid Rs 15 crore for her role, while Nayanthara is rumoured to have earned Rs 12 to Rs 18 crore for playing Ganga.
