Pinkvilla has reported that Sonakshi Sinha and Reema Kagti are soon to begin shooting the sequel to the season 2 of their 2023 series Dahaad. Sources mentioned, "The script is locked, and the web-series is presently in the pre-production stage. While Sonakshi Sinha will be back to play the part of SI Anjali Bhaati, the casting for other characters is underway. Much like Dahaad, the second season too will feature a strong actor as the antagonist and the casting for same is underway.”

This actor-director duo earlier collaborated in the recently released Superboys Of Malegaon. As for Dahaad, the film will focus on a thrilling story of Indian society, where Sonakshi will reprise her role as a police officer. The series will return on Amazon Prime Video.
The series is created by Reema Kagti and Zoya Akhtar, directed by Kagti and Ruchika Oberoi, and starring Sonakshi Sinha, Gulshan Devaiah, Vijay Varma and Sohum Shah. It is inspired by Mohan Kumar, also known as Cyanide Mohan, a serial killer who preyed on women looking to get married.

Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha's Rowdy Rathore's sequel is in the making. Amid anticipation, the makers have locked the script. A source informed Zoom that the film is on track and gearing up to go on floors soon.
