Wednesday Season 2 Part 1 premiered on Netflix on August 6 but fans were disappointed that Lady Gaga was not part of the four episodes released so far.
The singer-actress is set to guest star in the second season of Wednesday as Rosaline Rotwood, a legendary Nevermore Academy teacher who crosses paths with Jenna Ortega's title character. Lady Gaga will now appear in Part 2 of the new season and she's also set to debut a new song, Death Dance for the show. Here's all we know about the new Wednesday song.
Lady Gaga to release new song Death Dance for Wednesday Season 2
According to a report in The Hollywood Reporter, Wednesday director and executive producer Tim Burton is directing the music video for Death Dance, which has been created specially for the show. The video was reportedly filmed in Mexico; in April, Lady Gaga had a couple of concerts in Mexico City as part of her The Art of Personal Chaos tour.
Death Dance will likely drop next month when Part 2 of the second season of Wednesday will premiere on September 3. Netflix officially revealed that Lady Gaga was part of the show at its annual Tudum fan event held live in Los Angeles in May 2025.

At the Tudum event, Gaga also recreated Wednesday's dance. Apart from the upcoming music video, the music star is on tour for Mayhem Ball. The arena tour began in Las Vegas on July 16. Earlier this year, Lady Gaga also headlined Coachella with a set that instantly became talked about.
