Mohanlal took to social media to share a new poster from the film along with the update. Drishyam 3 is censored with U/A 13+. The film has a runtime of 156 minutes.
What Is Drishyam 3 About?
The third instalment follows Georgekutty’s life several years after the Varun murder case. The teaser suggests that he is now dealing with guilt and fear over his past actions. In one scene, Georgekutty says he acted without thinking about the consequences and is now living with constant worry.
Jeethu Joseph had earlier shared that the film takes place four and a half years after Drishyam 2 and focuses on the impact of Georgekutty’s choices and the difficulties facing his family. The franchise, which began in 2013 and achieved major digital success with its 2021 sequel, went on to gain worldwide popularity and inspired remakes in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, and several international languages.

Producer Antony Perumbavoor said the response to the first two films encouraged the team to continue Georgekutty’s story. The film has already attracted strong attention internationally, especially in the UK market, where advance bookings opened several weeks before release. Backed by a reported Rs 100 crore investment from Pen Studios, Aashirvad Cinemas, and Panorama Studios, the film is expected to perform strongly at the box office.
