enjoyed a glorious run at the ticket windows. After three weeks of its theatrical run, the spy thriller has shattered another box office record. Dhurandhar, produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios, has surpassed the lifetime record of Kalki 2898 AD. The Nag Ashwin directorial featured Prabhas, Deepika Padukone, Amitabh Bachchan, and Kamal Haasan. Talking about Dhurandhar, the film features an ensemble star cast, that includes Sara Arjun, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye, Sanjay Dutt, and R Madhavan.
Dhurandhar BEATS Kalki 2898 AD
According to Sacnilk, the 24-day total box office collection of Dhurandhar is Rs 669.28 crore. On the other hand, the lifetime domestic collection of Prabhas' Kalki 2898 AD is Rs 646.31 crore. There's a difference of over Rs 20 crore between both movies.
Talking about Dhurandhar, the film opened to positive reactions from audiences and critics alike. As for Kalki 2898 AD, the sci-fi mythological epic had received mixed response upon its theatrical release. Coming back to the Aditya Dhar film, it has been inspired by real-life incidents. The second installment of the film has been scheduled for a theatrical release on March 19, 2026.
