More about Thama
With Thama, Maddock Films promises a genre-bending experience - a chilling love story that captures supernatural terror along with a passionate narrative. The teaser hints that the 'sarvashaktishaali', which means most powerful, antagonist will play a pivotal role in pushing the limits of fear within the franchise’s already beloved universe.
Producer Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Horror-Comedy Universe began with Stree (2018) and grew with titles like Roohi, Bhediya, Munjya and Stree 2, each merging folklore-inspired horror with humour and heart. Now, Thama aims to take the concept further by weaving an intense romance into its dark supernatural setting.
The official reveal of Thama’s villain is set for Tuesday, August 19, 2025, building anticipation among fans eager to meet this all-powerful character. The film will release in cinemas this Diwali, promising an unforgettable mix of fear, love, and spectacle.
