continues its nationwide promotional tour, which recently reached Delhi after stops in Mumbai, Bhopal, and Bengaluru. During the event, Ram Charan spoke about his recent meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi, where the two discussed the film’s theme. The film stars Janhvi Kapoor, with Boman Irani and Divyenndu in key roles. Directed by Buchi Babu Sana and featuring music by AR Rahman, Peddi is said to be an entertaining and inspirational story rooted in rural India.

Ram Charan Reveals Conversation With PM Narendra Modi During Peddi Promotions

Ram Charan said that when he met Prime Minister Narendra Modi in Delhi, the Prime Minister asked him about Peddi, to which he explained that the film revolves around the idea of empowering villages. He added that PM Modi shared an interesting incident from his campaigning in West Bengal, where he noticed a group of youngsters wearing jerseys on top and traditional loincloths below, who said they had come from a remote village.



He further mentioned that nearly 40 years ago, a man named Mohammed from the same village had played for the Indian football team, and today more than 85 people from that village play football, showing how one individual’s inspiration can bring a huge transformation. Ram Charan said that in a similar way, Peddi is about one such individual from a tribal region who goes on to create an impact, and at its core, the film explores themes of identity.

Speaking at the Delhi event, Ram Charan spoke about the long journey of making the film, which took nearly two and a half years to complete. He described Peddi as a committed effort by the entire team, calling it both an entertaining and inspiring story. He praised the director, producer, music composer and entire cast for their dedication and teamwork, saying that the film was made with sincerity and passion.





Ram Charan also said that Peddi carries the essence of rural India and aims to connect with audiences across generations. The actor also requested audiences to watch the film in theatres with their families, especially children, saying it carries a strong inspirational message.
