in 2010. 15 years later, the duo recently filed for divorce. According to a media report, Jay and Mahhi got separated a long time ago. And they reportedly filed for divorce a few months ago. For the unversed, they share three children: a biological daughter, Tara, and two foster children, Rajveer and Khushi.
Jay Bhanushali, Mahhi Vij headed for splitsville?
As per a Hindustan Times report, Jay and Mahhi are heading for splitsville. "Much was tried, but nothing changed. Separation happened a long time ago. They filed for divorce a couple of months back. The papers have been signed and finalised in July-August, and the custody of the kids has also been decided up," a source informed the publication.
The report further suggests that trouble began over Mahhi's trust issues with the television actor. "Once known for their joint vlogs, they’ve stopped posting pictures together. Their last collab family post was in June 2024," the source added.

For those unaware, rumours of their separation intensified after Mahhi reacted to the speculation publicly. "Why should I tell you? Are you my uncle?," the actress responded to questions of her marriage. Although she and Jay were seen together for daughter Tara's birthday in August, the duo reportedly maintained distance.
Jay on getting married to Mahhi
Earlier, on India's Best Dancer 3, Jay revealed that three months were enough for him to know that Mahhi was the first girl he wanted to marry. "Within three months, I decided that I would get into a relationship. On December 31st 2009, I proposed to her, and in 2010, we got married. I invited everyone, but no one arrived as everyone thought I was a casanova," he said.
