Taylor wooed by Travis' public courting
The episode saw Swift reflect on her personal life, including her relationship with Kelce, which began after he used the podcast to express his interest in her. “This podcast got me a boyfriend ever since Travis decided to use it as his personal dating app about two years ago,” she joked. She described his public approach as “such a wild romantic gesture,” adding, “This felt more like I was in an ‘80s John Hughes movie and he was just like, standing outside of my window with a boombox. I was like ‘if this guy isn’t crazy,’ this is sort of what I’ve been writing songs about wanting to happen to me since I was a teenager.”

Taylor Swift announces song with Sabrina Carpenter
Swift shared that the project closes with a collaboration with Sabrina Carpenter, while the opening track will be The Fate of Ophelia. Track five, a slot often reserved for the most emotional moment on a Swift album, is titled Eldest Daughter. The album, she explained, draws heavily from her experiences during the Eras Tour, blurring the lines between the exhaustion of performing with the excitement of creating.
“I’d do like three shows in a row, I’d have three days off, I’d fly to Sweden, go back to the tour,” Swift recalled of the writing process. “Working on this, I was physically exhausted at this point in the tour but I was so mentally stimulated and so excited to be creating.” Kelce, chiming in during the conversation, said, “And literally living the life of a showgirl,” to which Swift replied, “I was, that’s why I called it that, nailed it.”
With Taylor thriving both in her personal and professional life, will this new album have a unique sound? We cannot wait to find out!
