Siddharth P Malhotra confirms Shaque season 2
When Siddharth was asked about a possiblity of season two for Shaque, he told us, "We are working on season two actively right now. We exploring creatively story-wise but we don't have the story locked right now. We are actively working with writers trying to find season two right now."
Continuing the conversation, the producer revealed that the biggest challenge on season one was to keep the suspense alive and the writing fast. He mentioned that it's very easy for people to get distracted because everyone has phones and Instagram reels.
"How do I make you watch the show without you looking at your phone and say, 'I can't put this show down and I have to complete all the episodes in one night.' On digital, when you are making a series or a film, the game is completion rate. How many people started (and) how many people completed it. When people complete it, that is the proof of success. On this show, that is what has happened. Anybody who has started it after episode one or two - after two toh non-stop has gone to the seven," he added.Considering the above factors, Siddharth and team Shaque had to ensure that they kept the energy going in terms of editing, music and thrill. "So that is how we had to structure and write it. And that was teamwork from Netflix, from us and from a lot of people to come together."
