Ranveer Singh's Emotional Post For Arsenal
A few weeks ago, Ranveer got emotional as he celebrated the football club's victory in the Premier League after 22 years. He called it an "unforgettable chapter in sports history" and wrote, "Arsenal is not a family I was born into. It is a family I chose." He recalled becoming "a lifelong Arsenal fan" in 2001 at the age of 16 after watching Arsene Wengers 'Invincibles' play. "And I chose well. What style, what flair, what a dazzling club," gushed the actor.
He added that times had changed and the tides of fortune had kept ebbing through what he described as a cruel age. He said that after 22 arduous years of struggle, hate, ridicule, and despondency, pride and glory had been restored at Arsenal Football Club.
Not just a victory, this was a redemption arc for the ages, wrote Ranveer. The actor continued that it was more than football, describing it as a life lesson. He said one should stay the course, keep believing in oneself, trust the process, maintain purity of intent, and back it with unrelenting hard work, adding that the reward would come. He further stated that loyalty and resilience mattered most in hard times.
Currently, the actor is going through a somewhat difficult time. He is involved in a major battle with the makers of Don 3 over his exit from the film. The Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) has issued a non-cooperation directive against him, asking its members not to work with the actor.
