Dhurandhar, starring Ranveer Singh and Akshaye Khanna, is finally out on OTT. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy thriller had its digital premiere on Netflix
on January 30, 2026. The movie was theatrically released on December 5 last year and emerged as the biggest blockbuster of 2025. Coming back to the film's digital release, the initial feedback for it has been positive. However, netizens have claimed that the makers released a censored version of Dhurandhar on OTT. On Reddit, several users expressed disappointment about the film's 'censored' version releasing on Netflix. However, the truth is that the movie is not censored and has been released as is on the streaming platform.
Dhurandhar NOT censored for OTT
A Reddit user claimed that Dhurandhar's censored version is currently being played on the OTT giant. The user further questioned, "Will we ever get the uncensored version then? DVD/Blu-Ray? Foreign distributors? Anything?!" However, as seen on the streaming platform, the film hasn't been censored. The same print, which was released in theaters, is playing on the plaform.
While Dhurandhar is currently streaming online, the film's second part is all set to be released on March 19, 2026. A few days ago, Aditya confirmed that the teaser of Dhurandhar 2 will be released soon.

In Aditya's Dhurandhar, Ranveer plays the role of Hamza Ali Mazari/ Jaskirat Singh Rangi. As for Akshaye, the actor is seen as Rehman Dakait while Arjun Rampal essays the character of Major Iqbal. On the other hand, Sanjay Dutt portrays the role of SP Chaudhary Aslam and R Madhavan is seen as Ajay Sanyal.
Besides the above-mentioned actors, the spy thriller's star cast includes Sara Arjun, Rakesh Bedi, Saumya Tandon, Gaurav Gera, Danish Pandor, Manav Gohil, Naveen Kaushik, and others. It was produced by Jio Studios and B62 Studios.
