Amid the massive success of his film, Emraan has penned a note on social media. The actor poured his heart out over the overwhelming response to Awarapan 2, which he feels is his 'best film' yet. Emraan believes that the Nitin Kakkar directorial is best experience with an audience in cinemas.
Emraan Hashmi On Awarapan 2's Success
Taking to his Instagram handle, Emraan shared a picture with Awarapan 2 producer Vishesh Bhatt. The actor later shared a note in which he mentioned tha there are films an artist works on. At the same time, there are films which an artist is genuinely proud to be a part of.
"Awarapan 2 belongs to the latter. It has become a rarest-of-rare phenomenon an unprecedented feat. A film that didn't find its audience two decades ago returning with a sequel, determined to rewrite history at the box office," wrote Emraan. The actor added that it is an emotionally charged musical, which has been mounted on a stunning visual scale and powered by diverse and timeless music.
He further mentioned producer Vishesh Bhatt, who is the creator of Awarapan's world. Emraan stated that Bhatt's vision and 'unwavering conviction' shaped everything and everyone. The actor said he is glad for the fact that they took the leap together and made this journey.
"To be part of a film with such an incredible cast, musical genius, and creative brilliance has been super special. This is My Best Film Yet. So before it's too late, go experience Awarapan 2 in theatres now. Feel the emotional roller coaster. Let the music take over," he added. How Has Awarapan 2 Performed At Box Office?
Meanwhile, Awarapan 2 has performed exceptionally at the box office. The romantic actioner, featuring Emraan has Shivam, had earned a whopping Rs 210.20 crore at the worldwide box office. On the other hand, it made Rs 148.40 crore in India. The film clashed with Sunny Deol and Preity Zinta's Batwara 1947 in theatres.
